<title>Another year rolls by</title>
<content>Happy new year 2009! And what a year it's been. We are now enjoying a new house and finally able to have a <a href="http://tomasz.data2net.org/gallery/album141">real xmas</a>.
I did a neat little project <a href="http://tomasz.data2net.org/gallery/pooltable">refinishing an old pool table</a>, we had another fun <a href="http://tomasz.data2net.org/gallery/octoberfest">Octoberfest</a>,
and of course another fun <a href="http://tomasz.data2net.org/gallery/obx08">trip to outer banks</a>. Also, my mom came for a <a href="http://tomasz.data2net.org/gallery/mom_s_visit">visit in August</a>
and we got to check out Hershey, PA and a few other fun places. Here's hoping for a lot more fun memories in 2009, cheers!

of my experience at VIR (Virginia International Raceway). It was a 2 day event during which I got to try out my car on the track,
and it was a blast although it unfortunately ended in a <a href="http://tomasz.data2net.org/gallery/album109">blown engine which now needs a rebuild</a>.

also <a href="http://tomasz.data2net.org/gallery/stlouiszoo">St. Louis Zoo</a> and <a href="http://tomasz.data2net.org/gallery/DC-Zoo">DC Zoo</a>.
There's a new <a href="http://tomasz.data2net.org/gallery/HO_Trains">HO scale train diarama</a> in the making
and of course a bunch of new <a href="http://tomasz.data2net.org/gallery/album62">Audi related events</a>.
Last but not least check out the album of <a href="http://tomasz.data2net.org/gallery/album98">"buggy" pics</a> by yours truly.

<title>Thanks for visiting!</title>
<content>
The appearances are deceiving. Even though the main page of my little site here doesn't change much over time, there is activing under the surface.
What started as a simple directory of pictures has grown into a large gallery for both me and my friends and family.
It has taken on a life of it's own, it has become the meat of the site and has pretty much taken over.
With all the new content came a new wave of vistors, mostly folks from Audi related sites looking for info on mods and meets.
The site traffic has been growing steadily for the last year, from 20K hits in September to over 100K hits in May.
June is set to be another record breaker.
I just wanted to take a second to thank everyone for visiting.
New albums and pictures are being uploaded all the time, so come back and visit often as things tend to change quickly.

<title>The Phoenix Rises Again</title>
<content>
It's been over a year since the last update and almost a year since this page has disappeared without a trace.
In my own defense, during this time not only have I moved to a new house but also have switched to DSL, which made serving from my home server impossible.
Verizon (my DSL provider) has hinted at an availability of a static IP address "in the next 2 months" since April.
I finally gave up on waiting and decided to put up a slimmed down version of this page in the 10 megs that I have between Mailbank account and Verizon account.
Due to the size constraints, the PigCam and some other areas will no longer be available. When (read "If") Verizon ever decides to allow static IP,
I'll try to bring it back at that time. For now I will concentrate on bringing this site up to date after a whole year, so stay tuned for updates.

<title>Back Online!</title>
<content>
About two weeks ago bad carma
of a visiting friend caused my server machine to die :-) Ok,
maybe it was just a very old motherboard and CPU (Pentium 60) and
it was time for it to leave for that big scrap heap in the sky.
Anyways, after replacing the M/B with a slightly newer P100 and
reinstalling all the hardware, the server is back on-line! There
are still some slight compatibility problems to be worked out (the
mouse is not working for one), so there might be some times when
the server is down. Now that it's all over, I will be doing some
updates in the near future, as soon as I catch up on my sleep
after all of this...

<title>New PigCam, Train Photos</title>
<content>
Ok, let's see. First of all,
the <a href="PigCam.html">Pig
Cam</a> is now continuously
on (well, at least while the server is online). I have broke down
and bought a QuickCam VC so I could put away the camcorder. The
picture quality is not as good (in my opinion anyway) and the
camera takes a while to adjust to varying brightness levels, so
if you connect to it and it's too bright or too dark just give it
a few minutes to adjust. But, hey, at $50 vs. $700 for the
camcorder, who can complain?<br/>
In other news, I have added new sections to the <a
href="modelrr">railroad pages</a>, describing how to create grasses,
trees and electric lines and also some picture from downtown
Winnieburg (naming still in progress...)<br/>
On the subject of honeymoon pics, unfortunatelly one roll was
somehow double-exposed, and the other is not finished yet, so it'll
be a while longer before they're here.<br/>

Well, as they say, misery loves

December, putting the whole web site out of order, then I found
out that the backup of that drive was bad too, and then, when I
was reinstalling everything from scratch, the C: drive on my main
computer let go as well. After getting another drive today and
finally getting both computer working, the web site is back

can solve this problem. So, if you, the visitor, were able to
access this page thru my gateway page or thru DIPS, please send
me an e-mail and let me know that it works again.
